Alright, im sure this has been covered many times before and that i should search, but this is my first time here and i need immediate help..

I plan on getting a motor from Hmotorsonline.com (b16a) to put into my 84 Honda CRX SI..

After getting that stuff from them, what else should i get that is not included in their list??

I need the full breakdown of what to get, because im getting all the stuff and getting a buddy to put it in for me..

Check out the shopping list that Hasport recommends on their website.

Right-O. There was no such thing as an 84 Si. Maybe its an 85....

Check out http://www.redpepperracing.com <~~ they know tons more about 1G CRXs than HT, no offense guys...

You'll need engine/tranny, ECU, motor mounts, a special shift linkage, entire wiring harness for plugs that will match up with the B, axles (not sure if you have to have some made or just use some off of a different car), and I have heard that you'll need new hubs. I'm not sure about radiator either; I'm sure you could use the stock rad, but you may need different hoses. With the bigger, heavier engine I would suggest you upgrade the torsion bars also, or just go all out and use an Integra front suspension so you can have springs up front.

I have the B16A swap on my 87 CRX. The hasport site was very informative and very helpfull douring my swap.

Also get the 86-89 Integra front hubs and knuckes assemblies.
If your car its a DX then you will need to convert it to FI. Get an Si harness, fuel lines or make your own, etc.

If you're using a PR3 or PWO ecu then you will need a VSS from another Honda (CRX HF, 88-91 Civic CRX, etc) another choice would be to get a ZDyne ECU.

Good luck with your car.

For the gauge gluster I just used the stock CRX one, I just changed the VSS mechanism of the CRX and repaced it for a 90 CRX VSS mechanism. ( Will fit with some mods) I just connect the 2 VSS terminals ( one to ground and the other to ECU pin # B16) I did this cause Im using a PR3 ECU and need the VSS signal to activate VTEC.

Good luck
