noob question

Default noob question

just wondering if a 14" spare tire can work with 15" wheels? i'm thinking it can but i just want to make sure. thanks.

um...i have a 13" spare and I have 15's on my car...a spare is a spare...as long as it fits on the car who gives a ****, its not like you're going to be racing or driving hard with a donut on

just keep in mind that unless the wheels are the same size (ie. the size from tire to tire... not the rim size.) You will get some vibration and when you brake one side of the car will be pulled forward. this will only happen if its on the rear wheels though... it's okay for the front wheels and you wont have any problems i do believe.

I kinda got confused there...spares always go on the rear, right? I mean, for Honda's anyways.

you can put spares on the front axles too if you want, I did it and it was fine.

what about brake fitment? i thought some hondas couldnt use less than a 14" spare b/c of the calipers?

thats when you have one wheel/tire thats bigger than all the others. that was funny when my uncle did that w/ his accord. the thing battled to move 100%.

damn 15 foot wheels could be hard to drive.. j/k

just make sure it wont rub..it woula cause car to pull though.. if in front

Doesn't that wear out your dif? I rember my old 4x4 I blew a 33/12.50/15 and replaced it with a 29" tire and drove home( about 300miles) and roasted my rear dif!
