There had been previous contraversy over who had the quickest IDRC Pro-AM FWD car with the issue of DragSport and Paul Coggeshell well this weekend at IDRC not only did 1 car destroy the "questionable" time of Coggeshell but 2 did. Jason Hunt in his Coupe ran 10.25 @ 147mph and Shad Sawyer in his 92 Civic Hatch ran 10.45 @ 144mph. Not 2 mention there were 2 other 10second cars, Brian Fisher 10.63 @ 139mph and Brian Ballard 10.77 @ 141mph but 3 other cars between 11.05 and 11.26, So 7 cars all faster then 11.26 is quite impressive for street cars... and #8 was 11.86.

I have videos of Shad's 10.45 @ 144 and Jason's 10.35 @ 142, but unfortuantely the person who had my camera didn't get Jason's 10.25 i dunno how I wanted to shoot him when I went through the video today.... Hopefully someone on here has a copy of the video they could share. All my videos will be up on VWSport.com between today and tommorw i'll post a link when complete

Attendance stunk for the event as a whole. But I had a good time. Congrats again Jason. I guess you'll have to bring the crx back out just to beat Ballard.

 

I told ya'll to watch out for my buddy Shad Sawyer!!!!! He is my tuner and very good friend BTW! He has worked very very hard to get where he is at, the car has so much more in it!!!! Congrats Jason again and all who ran! Also congrats big time to Grey Milteer he is on a stock block GSR motor in his 90 Integra, heavey but OH SO CLEAN!!!!!!!! Big props! Wish I could've been there but spent the weekend in the hospital by my wifes bedside. All is better now at least.

I still don't believe Jason Hunt or any of those East Coast guys went that fast it was all made up!!!!!!!

Has Paul Coggeshell bettered the times posted in Dragsport yet? That was quite some time ago...

 

I don't think he has gone faster than a 10.4. Can anyone truly confirm it was with or without wheelie bars? I have heard he was running them and he wasn't. But 10.25 is definately the fastest in the idrc pro-am fwd.

The people running the #'s arent bringing up the subject so wht is your point? I was thanking people that helped me with other things besides my racing that day, why dont you get over it? Post about your setup or one of your friends, this is a free forums you can post what ever you want but ...... your attitude sucks man.

I know Jason has run the trap speeds without nitrous and so has Shad Sawyer.
