ive got a 99 si with a slutty clutch and was wondering if honda would replace it under warranty, or do i have to drive around until it totally blows for them to do something about it. i bought the car certified with i believe bumper to bumper until 60,000 and drivetrain through 100grand. any suggestions?

 

Dude the warranty wont cover any parts if u misabusing your clutch but if u have been taking good car of your and the warranty should cover the problem and i would take the car now before it causes more problem.

 

they don't have to know how you drive your car.

Take it in, and say you want it replaced.

 

Sometimes at dealers if your car looks modified they wont do it. That wouldnt stop me from going to the next one if i can

 

They won't replace your clutch because it is a wear and tear item. About the only way that they would replace it would be if it failed within a few months of you buying the car brand new.
