Like the title says, i have some slicks and i need to know what PSI to put them at when i go to the track. They are 20x6x14 MT and i have them on HX wheels. I am going to the track and i have never driven on slicks....what should i launch at with them also.
i have a b16 with stage 1 skunks, and intake manifold, cold air intake, dyno tuned and DC 4-1. Any suggestions how to get lower then 14.9? Any suggestions on driving with slicks?

you really have to be careful how much psi you put on THAT size of a slick since it doesnt have that much tire height for low PSI use. try 14psi at first and see how that goes for you.. and drop down 1 psi at a time until you get the right pressure that gets you the best launches.
If they get too low like 10psi, it looks really FLAT and that hurts your top end. you need some air in there to get the tires moving to get the MPH at the end.
So start high on the pressure and work your way down a couple PSI.

I was thinking about 14-15 psi, i just wanted to make sure, i am only going to run one time on these, i got called out and i need to shut the dude up....so thanks.
14 psi warm, this means 12.5-13 psi before first burnout.
Launch at about 5000-5500 rpm
20x6x14's on a SOHC with 60 shot..........
