Ok People Help Me out If you Will.
Ok everyone here's the deal.
I recently Purchased an 88 CRX Si With a Junk 1.5 HF Motor installed(Yea yea we can all stop laughing now). I went to a Junk Yard and picked up a 16 Valve Head to replace the Stock Head which only had 8 valves Hoping to gain a lil more power. It Worked fine Cept the head came off of a 1.6l engine and mine is a 1.5. Hasd plenty of mid-top end power but low end it Pitiful. my friends say it's normal( something to do with the Stroke of the engine or something) buy anyway I'm thinkin of purchasing a SOHC V-tec engine to throw in till i can rack up the Funds For a Complete DOHC V-Tec engine. My question is if i'm gonna be spendin less than 400 bucks on the complete SOHC V-Tec engine. Is it gonna be worth it for the power or are the SOHC not that great? should i just stick with my Current Engine till i can Come up with the cash? Any Suggestion would Be appreciated.

I also agree...save you money
you have it better than me...i had to save my money because my SOHC 1.6 blew in December of 2000
So i had to save my money for a b16..I didn't drive my car for 5 months! But i tell you, it was worth the wait
