Default need d15 sohc help badly

i have just brought a ukdm ek hatch with a d15 vtec.
i'm just wondering what bhp these are?

also i have seem some jdm eg civic sir's with a 1.5 vtec 146bhp engine just wondering what the difference is between my engine and this one. i really want to tune my engine cos there are so many people with b series civics in this country and there to expensive to swap. does anyone know what sort of potential there is with these engines without turboing.

cheers for any help

your not going to make much power without boosting, you can make decent power all motor but its very expensive n will prob not be very reliable..

u dont want to boost?

the only way to get 150 hp is to spend alot of money... either save that towards the b18 or use it to boost

New head, valvetrain, cams, Ecu tune, port polish, exhaust, intake, bored over bigger higher comp pistons..... yea dump in like $1800 and you can be pretty high up for a SOHC but if your able to do the swap just wait. Spend the money on your interior, stereo stock up on aftermarket parts for the engine you want so you can have it built or boosted before it goes in. Just my 2 cents though. And the fact I'm doing a mini-me in the near future and I don't want there to be to many around. But I'm only doing it b/c I cant do a swap.

put bolts on goods that you can switch over when you get the b18.

get it breathing good at both ends(intake/exhaust)...you might have to modify the connections now to bolt it up to your pinner throttle body and exhaust, but get the good stuff that'll work with your planned b18

ya know...you're not gonna abunch of power but you'll notice the diff

if you do get a bunch of power let me know how you do it...
