Default 92 non vtec ex intake and throttle body on 92 vx vtec

i see a lot of motor swap lists on the internet. but i have not found anything (swap charts)this topic yet. does anyone, before i buy it, will an intake manifold and throttle body off a 92 ex civic will work on a 92 vx vtec civic? it looks this same, only 3 times bigger, and all the sensors and electric plugs look the same. i already have put the exhaust manifold and airbox-air tube assembly on and it improved dramaticly.

do you still have the stock intake manifold? If so i would go pick up a y8 manifold. That should give you more power.

is a y-8 stock? i cant run any after-market or parts off a different model. the motor must be stock. so a 92 civic part on my 92 civic should be legal. i was just wondering if the computer would work right and if it would make a difference, (since everything apears to bolt and plug up) before i forked the $40 for them at the junkyard. also, losing low end torque isnt a problem with the type of racing it does.
