INJEN CAI (problem)
Just installed an INJEN CAI on a type-S a few days ago. Everything seemed fine, had it dynoed and all.
Just yesterday the check engne light kept lighting up, any ideas to why? Would it be related tot he CAI at all? I will check the MAF sensor later, hopefully it's just that but could it be anything else if it's not the MAF?

Well when installing the CAI you have no choice but to reset the ECU b/c you have to disconnect the battery to install it. I can't think of anything but the MAF poping out, hopefully that's all it is. Thanks

hum....weird. i put a aem cold air into my lil bro's civic and we didnt have to d/c the battery. it was bitsh to do, but i did it. we had no check lights, no resetting ecu...nothing. maybe i think the o2 sensor has something to do with it. is it possible that you could have broken it in anyway? well good luck, get back to me on your problem.
Ok the MAF was plugged in properly, so I disconnected the neg battery terminal again and also pulled out the hazard light fuse for about 20 minutes......when I put everything back together the CEL did not come back on, I also let the car idle for 20 minutes. So far so good, hopefully it will stay this way. Thanks
Ok, the CEL has come back on after less than 24 hours of disconnecting the neg battery terminal and resetting the CEL light by pulling out the hazard fuse. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
If there was a sensor that was damaged, I don't think that the CEL would go away even after disconnecting the NEG battery terminal.
