Default Noob question.. .25 overbore pistons on a stock bore block?

my friend wants to run .25 overbore ITR pistons on a LS bloc with stock bore.. can it be done?

Sure, anything can be done with a sledgehammer. For it to work properly you need to have the block bored out .25, and have it honed.

depending on how old the motor is, you could make the pistons physically fit, but the clearences would be VERY wrong, and you'd score the **** out of your cylinder walls.

In all, you need to bore to spec, then hone
