I'm New WTF is B16, EG,EF,& all this jive talk?
Is there a site or forum link that breaks down all the codes for honda and acura? For example: B16, EG, EF,EK, D15B. The only thing I know is my car is a EG because of my VIN.
Also is there a site/forum link that breaks down the different civic year/model differences?
I can't IM my thanx due to the trial period crap, so thanks in advance!!!!

Thank you all for the info, I highly appreciate it!!!!! Like I said I am NEW to all this honda stuff, and quite frankly some of you honda owners have a small hatchback civic wedged far up your ***!!!! Why is there a need for this crap?

If I knew they where ECU, ENGINE, or CHASSIS codes I would have searched that! But like my post said I am new! All my previous cars had extremly simple codes(for example: RX7 = Gen 1, 2, & 3) I just want to learn the lingo, so I can communicate with the forum. So if asking questions is such a big deal don't reply and
me all you want.
Other than that thank you all again for replying and helping me out, for that's what the forum is for?

Welcome to honda-tech. Do remember to search before posting. But you are new and didn't really know. Just watch out for these kids. Most of them will know answers and still tell you to search cause their buttheads. Anyways, welcome
