I am soon going to be installing my vafc and getting some tuning done and am installing it myself. I wanting to know how most people wire theres up, like by splicing in and soidering or what. I wanting it clean and so that i dont cut my wiring harness up to much. I know were i am mounting it in the glove box to keep it concealed.

 

i didnt use any of the connectors that came with the vafc, i just soldered everthing and covered all connections with electrical tape. i just feel better knowing that none of connections will come apart.

 

I used splices and taps on mine with now problems for over 3 years, but I would also recommend soldering the connections. While I've had good luck with them, splices are pretty flimsy in general.
