Default How to Bleed the Brake Master Cylinder...

Anyone, I bled my brakes many times, and my pedal is still mushy..
Pictures would help too!

just like regular bleeding. pump peddle crack line at master. do one line until res is empty. then refill and do other line.

Here's a good way to bench-bleed the MC (before you install it...)

Get a couple short brake lines from parts store, bend them around so they pour back into the reservoir. Fill it & pump until the MC doesn't have any more bubbles. Then when you install it just put rags or something underneath because it'll drip when you switch to the car's brake lines.

why not just get one of the one man bleeder setups
I have one and it uses pressure and takes all of about 30 minutes to do all 4 sides

you are suppose bleed the new brake master cylinder on a bench vise. the best way i've try is to block both holes with my fingers or go to napa and buy the plugs which are a waste of money. I depress the master cylinder while my other hand block the hole. i just keep on depressing the master cylinder until it gets hard then i let the master cylinder gravity bleed to make sure there is no bubble. after just install it in the car then bleed the brake lines.
