Help on suspesion set up
I wanna drop two inches and ride like a birck ( really stiff any ways). I was thinking GR-2s with some good springs (no coil overs, i heard the rust in winter, im from iowa). What do you guys thing. Im trying to stay within the 400 dollar range. 200-245 for the shocks, what springs should i buy. I was thinkin nuespeed race springs.
I don't care about comfort, i just want my accord to be really fun to drive

A bumpy ride is NOT fun to drive! Why in the world would you want a horrible ride?? If you do it right, you can lower your car and keep some good ride quality.
actually.......

that is what you said. Why don't you do a little more research of your own. Then come back with some intelligent questions.

I wan't a horrible ride
Theres a big difference.
I was asking about that setup b/c my buddy has it on his gti and it
handles like a dream. I was wondering if it would be good for an
accord. So why don't you make sure you're heads not in your
*** before you post somthing.
Would anyelse like to give me some advice?

I've got my old suspension if you want it, but I think the front strut might be blown. Either that or all the fluid leaked out. j/k I've got progressive springs, but look all old and rusty. I'm in Nebraska so I feel the rust thing, but coilovers are constructed of Alluminum, so I don't know what the fear is.

the cheap sleeves are, but real coilovers are steel. mine have a steel body and they do rust a little if you don't keep grease on them. i bought them used and had to cut the aluminum collars off and replace them since they'd seized to the strut body. everything's cool now and they work fine, but they will rust a little if you don't take car of them. i also live a couple blocks from the beach, so the salt air here kills everything.
oh, and as far the question goes, i've had neuspeed springs and kyb agx struts, skunkworks sleeves with the agxs, and now tein HAs, and i really wish that I'd have done the research and bought the HAs first. the springs rode well and handled good, but it wasn't low enough for my taste. the skunks handled great, but rode like *** since they were so stiff and the ride was harsh (and the agxs weren't mean to be that low). the teins handle as well as the skunks, but ride better than the springs. take it from someone with experience with them all, you get what you pay for and you shouldn't settle on something that is one of if not the most important part of your car. believe me, when you're tired or hung over driving somewhere and all your car does is kick your *** on any road that's not smooth you'll grow to hate it. it's worth the extra couple hundred bucks and the little bit of greasing now and then. you should be under your car a couple times a year anyway to keep watch on things, and it take 15 minutes to do it.

how much were your tien coil overs, im not looking to spend 700$ for there basic setup. I was the tein springs good if i put them on some GR-2s. I know im not spending much money. i just want some thing that cut down on the body roll and lower it a bit

If you want a STIFF ride then get H&R race springs with Koni Yellows with firm setting both front and rear. But also remember where you drive your car Street or Track?? Stiff is not always better.. I have Apexi WS coilovers they are quite slow but they do handle like a dream on the streets. But for track they ae way too soft.. So depends on your needs then decide on what to get for shock and springs.. BTW I find ST sways bars help the most on the street!
what yr is your accord . i have a set of neuspeed race springs i want to get rid of i have a 90 accord the spring well fit up to a 97 model so e mail me at hondacb7@aol.com ok if u want them they ride good not alot of bouncing or anything
