Default Skunk2 Camshafts I, II, or III

Stage I = (street/carb legal) I live in minnesota, so i could give a damn about carb.

Stage II = (semi race)

Stage III = (full race)

My car is a daily driver, but im going with skunk2's valves, retainers, valve springs, and cam gears.....

would Stage III be overdoing it.?

take it from ppl that have exp with them,i have been told if you daily drive your car what so ever do not get the stage 3s, skunks love compression tho, so the stage 2s are going to be for like a motor with over 11:5 compression, and the stage ones are a aggressive ctr grind basically

So the stage 2 skunks will only just start to shine with 11.5 CR or is this CR with Stage 2's an ideal combo for a daily driven and weekend circuit racing car?

And with regard to idle quality, is it smooth? Cause I D/L the video of that red EG that pulled a 12.3 and I don't think my G/F would want her car to be so lumpy at idle or this is what she would do to me in my sleep

Stage 2's as long as you have high compression.

Tuning is your friend buddy. Don't believe me?

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=551070. So many people underestimate pump gas for high compression, get your **** tuned WELL and you'll be FINE.

As for the lumpy idle and girlfriend, your not guna have a 12 second car because your girl will get uncomfortable??? My girl will sit through Tein RS's and she'll enjoy it.

I have an itr head in my setup and I'm running a stock valvetrain with the stage 2's, and haven't had a problem yet. BTW, 9500 rpm shifts (frequently).
