Yea i just got done wiring the fog lights for my jdm itr front end
the fog lights work real good but i was wondering about the button illumination its always lit up when fog light is on its on plus a green line when off still on but no green light.
i was wondering is that normal cause when i turn off the car set my alarlm its still illuminated with the amber light. and when my parking city lights are off and HID are off its still illuminated with the amber light?

I think that the fog light pointing down is illuminated when the park/headlights are on, but the green light is only illuminated when the fogs are on. This is how mine is wired, but I could be wrong

 

ok see mine is always illuminated park/headlights are off but its still illuminated,
right now its still illuminated the switch is what im talking about
what did u wire your two red wires too from the switch ?
theres two red two black and one red/yellow wire
what did u put your two red ones and two black ones too?

im having problems with the illumination on the button thats amber always being on it never turns off, thats my concern.

the illumintation slot is one slot over to the right. they diagram is has the illumination in the wrong slot

 

so one slot over from the yellow wire to the right right?

yep that's right, I had the same problem until Denny helped me. Denny
That diagram Mike made needs a slight adjustment

 

So where is the plug for the fog lights at on the light assembly!!!!

brown plug wrapped in blue tape, under the dash and in the engine bay by the driver side headlight.

 

that brown plug, do u have to somehow connect the 2 fogs together (ie headlamp assembly)?

 

I meant the connector for the fog lights on the jdm headlight assembly
