Default NEEEEED HELP

my friend has a b16 and i just changed the cams to 98 itr cams and we changed the timing belt also the car runs like **** but it idles fine very wierd. i checked the valves, timing is all tdc, grounds are good, and distributer timing is correct, what else could i possibly do i also too hose off of the fpr to raise fuel presure and still runs shitty. need help badly

check your
sequence on your distributor

dont forget is

1-3
2-4

i cant put the prongs on the distributer any othere way they then already are. so that has to be correct

well... if you just slap some bigger cams on, it's not likely gonna run that great. You need to tune it. Makes a WORLD of a difference.

ok i will try that thanks.. but i didnt think it woudl run that frikin bad with out fuel because it barely goes...

Without the vacuum line to the FPR it won't be changing according to Vacuum, hook it back and see what happens... The extra fuel should be there under full throttle, close to what you'd be at now without the vacuum line. Go and get a B&M regulator, and gauge, this is a super simple mod that can help a lot in dialing in slight fuel changes...
