I got rid of my Volk's, now what should I get?
I sold my Volk TE-37's. I know, I know, all of my friends raged on me already so I don't need ya guys and girls to do it also. My credit card debt just kept growing and growing so I sold the rims and my turbo kit. Now that I am smarter now, I have saved up some cash to buy some new rims, not as expensive as 17" TE-37's but you know what I mean. Any idea's. The TE-37's were gunmetal. I would like a set of black rims (like the spoon rims) or a set of gun-metal rims. Any idea's or pics of the rims on a Blue Si i would be appreciated. Thanks
I have Motegi MR-7's in 17" gunmetal on my wife's EPB Si and they pretty god damn good if you ask me. I dont have any pics though, sorry
one of my friends had 17" bronze te37's... got rid of them and got advan rg's... maybe those... or id go with the spoons or maybe even the regamasters

I have a set of 16x7 SSR Type Rs (42mm offset) in gunmetal on my Si, probably the only set in the country right now. Weigh 12 pounds each.
Looking to sell them cause I want to get some Desmond Regamasters; let me know if you're interested.

Maybe you should get some Mugen MF-8's, you know something cheap. Just kidding, maybe look into a nice used wheel, sometimes it's the older rims that nobody has anymore that are the nice ones to have. Check wheelchoice.com they have mad @ss JDM rims over there. Good Luck, pick something nice. Have you seen the RONAL "Bear" wheels? They only come in 14's I think and his whole stomach comes off so you can see the lugnuts, DOPE!
Get some spoon rims.. I dont know if they are much cheaper but they are the bomb.. or if you want cheap light wheels look the the Kosei (weight = ?dont remember?) or the Rotas (15's = 11.5lbs)
spoons/regamasters or monster sports are all desmond rims start at about $300 a rim (weight at 8.5lbs)
for about 1/3 or about 1/2 of the money get some Rota Slip Streams or Sub Zeros or C8 they are only about 12lbs (15's) come in black, gunmetal and broze....

Those Rota Slipstreams look really nice!...just like the Spoons. If you want a light wheel still, I'd opt for those....or the real Desmond/Spoons. If you're looking for something bigger, like 17", I like the Volk GT-series (GTP, GTN, GTA) and the Volk LE-37K (basically same as the SE-37K, but with a clearcoat over the spokes and a polished lip). Dunno if you're willing to spend that much again. The Volks and Desmonds are all over $300/wheel. If you want cheaper, those Slipstreams look nice!!

But I wouldn't give up my SSR's for them though...

Those Slip Streams are pretty dope, how good of a Replica? They are supposed to be SW-388's right? Are they pretty close? Part 2 of my post, those VOLKS are sick as hell, kind of pricey... but maybe consider.
Where can I find the Regamasters at? How much are they. I would love to have those but I don't know where to find them.

They carry them. Don't expect them to be cheap as they are basically the same thing as Spoons only the RegaMasters come in different sizes and for a wide variety of cars like the RX-7, NSX, etc...

I have seen them in the black color that the Spoon rims come in. But they were not on that link. Plus there were no prices on that link either. Can you tell me how much they are for 15's and 16's if you know. Thanks
Also, do you think that those rims would look good on a '00 Blue Si

GAHDAMN I love that wheel!!...and especially in that Almight Grey color!! Sweet!! As for pricing...the standard colors for the Desmond Regamaster EVO's are white and silver, which run on average $370/wheel for 15x6.5 and $390/wheel for 15x7 and about $460/wheel for 16x7. The Almight Grey color costs $30-extra/wheel...too bad, cuz that's the nicest color!...if you see it in person, damn, you'll want the wheel on the spot! Those are average prices, so you might be able to find a better deal if you look around. I've seen higher than those and that's just stupid pricing! My friends' shop will actually be carrying those very soon...actually, they already do, but they're going thru some management changes or something, so they're kinda temporarily down...but in a couple of weeks or so, they'll be up and running again and can get the Desmonds. If you're interested, shoot me an email at jainikke@yahoo.com and I'll let you know what they can do for ya...I think they might do a big group purchase thing or have some type of great offer when they start for the Desmonds and Starform R2 wheels too...here's some pics of the Starforms...(hope this works...I never linked a pic here b4)

They're about 9.7lbs for 15x6.5, 9.9lbs for 15x7, and 14.1lbs for 17x7.5...pretty kewl. I still like the Desmonds better tho.
