4th gen 3 gauge pillar pods....
just got the pods in. went down to my car to install. the pods look nice, but unfortunately it looks like we will have to custom install the post. it doesnt just snap in like i previously though.
it takes acouple bolts it looks like that dont come with the pods. ill take some pics of the pods though. there also appears to be a small little problem. the pds are fiberglass. they have been replicated, but doest look like they fit exactely the way the OEM fits. there maybe a small gap between the pods and the actually pillar. ill give you guys a heads up after i install completely.

im possitive its for the prelude. ill post pics on monday to show everything. its pretty much a flush mount... dont take my word for it though. its worth the $75 for sure.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - the 4th gen dash has a million places to install gauges. Don't know why everyone gets all excited about the possibility of a 3-gauge pillar. Unless you want it for the bling factor, or the 'STEAL MY GAUGES' factor.

i feel like pillar pods would be way too small for me to see and read. maybe i just need glasses...
i'm waiting for someone to have an epileptic seizure because their shift light is way too bright, like a nightclub strobe. that would and wouldn't be funny.
i do wish i could see my tach better, though, i should just get used to the sound of my engine @ 7400 rpm and stop shifting so damn early.

well, if i can get something so i dont have to hack up my dash then that would be better for me.

I was think of installing my gauges in the Speaker Covers on the upper dash, where the tweats go. I don't think there is any other options!
BTW! I would like to see the pictures too.
It's Monday.

heres an idea I had:

flip it upside down, and afix it to the black plastic strip that goes all the way across the dash.
If you want to spread them out, or you just want one, then here

for less bling, ditch the CF
