Default got a clincking noise problem

okay, today I put my 17" wheels on...
and I started to hear a clinking noise coming from the front passenger side...
the weirdest thing is , it's pretty quiet noise, and it only happen when my foot is on the throttle....
I was cruising at ~10mph with just a tad on the throttle, and I started to hear this noise....

so, naturally, I checked the lug nuts, hood pins, strut bar nuts, underneath it for liner bolts and etc..and everything came up okay..tight as it supposed to be...

so I drove it around again at 10mph and a tad on the throttle, and it came on again(the noise), and it dissapeared as soon as I let off the throttle..

so I came to a dead stop, revved my engine slightly, and no noise...so I eliminated the internals (rocker arms, lifter and such)

I figured it is the suspension, so again I checked the spring and strut, seems to be fine...

any other ideas ?

PS: the intervals of the noise is parallel with the amount of throttle, i.e. the more I pressed in the throttle, the faster the noise is, but it dissapeared as soon as the rpm reached 3000 rpm..

help please

thanks

Maybe it is just suspension noise. My springs can make a lot of racket at times. Even on descent streets. But I have an amusing story. For months I kept hearing a noise coming from the left side of my car as I would leave in the morning. Sounded like a clicking. Drove me crazy, and I could not figure out what it was. I rotated my tires and noticed that my front tires were really out of balance. I went to a tire shop to have them rebalanced. My left front would not balance. Turns out I had a chrome valve stem inside the tire. I should try sleeping. later.

The A-pipe rattle strikes again. Are you still running your stock exhaust manifold? Is it "clinking" or a scratching noise?

would dealership check it even with aftermarket wheels and aftermarket spring and shocks combo ?

I have a pro-kit and illuminas and a 17"...

if that's the case, I'll try that..

any other ideas ?

PS: yes I am runnign stock exhaust manifold, but it sounded like clinging click....

Bad CV joint or loose brake pads?

But it only happened when my foot is slightly on the throttle ......

the noise is gone as soon as I let off the gas pedal....

only happened around 1K to 3K rpm, just cruising at 10-20mph

so this is what strikes me...

Is the new wheel offset much different then stock? Maybe it's putting extra load on an already weak wheel bearing.

Maybe it's coming from the transmission...does it happen both when you're in gear and in neutral?
