helpp... hissing sound

Default helpp... hissing sound

hey guys i just installed my components today and man it was time consuming but any ways... i have a problem now after hooking it up i drove around and it sound fine. but after a lil while it started making this hissing sound(sounds like a turbo, even sounds like it's spooling when i rev).
but it is getting annoying. even when i turn the volume off it's still making the hissing sound out of my right tweets. dunno what's wrong do u guys have any ideas?

I would check to see if you have the speaker wire pinched or the terminals of the speaker itself grounding out. You can disconnect the wire from the signal source (your amp or your headunit) and test continuity to ground with a multimeter, probably the most common/easiest problem/fix.

Are you running the components off amps or just off the power from the headunit

Got to love interference. If it is from amps then did you run the power and rca's together. and if you have multiple amps did you ground them together?

i checked everything so far and rca's might be the problem, everytime they touch or get close it will make the noise. i tried electrical taping them to see if that solves the problem but havn't tested yet. i'm not running headunit built in amp but using a alpine amp. i would check with multometer but dunno how to use one. please give more ideas so i can try everything.
