Is this a sign of bad ball joints?

when i come to a stop there is alot of squeaking goin on from both sides of the front of my car...... bj's need replacing?? thanx!

Checked the brake pads lately?
Ball joints usually make a "clunking" sound when you stop or start..

click or clunk... Sounds like the brakes, check your pads, if still good apply some stop-squeek and check rotor for grooves.
