hahhaha....i feel your pain...well, i assume you did a bolt-on swap. Now, with all bolt-ins, its always gonna vibrate like crazy due to the harder polyurethane mounts....the closest thing to stock is to do a "cut and weld" (Cut old mounts off and weld new ones to fit b16). I hear the car runs tiiite with that set up...but you have to position the motor in there right or else you're gonna be hittin some radius rods OR the headers will be too close to the front of the frame

I am kinda getting used to it....NOT. My friends 91 h/b b16 is totally quiet. Really pisses me off. Mine sounds and feels like a DC-3 on takeoff. We have the same HCP mounts except for his drivers side it is the old one( it is a 1/4 inch smaller than mine, he is going to get the wider one soon). I even notched out my rear trans bracket because it was hitting, still vibrating. ???????

I've got the same mount kit and know how you feel. At first the vibration was bothiering the heck out of me. It took about two weeks or so to get used to it. Now I love it!!!!! And long to feel the rawness of my car in my hand, every time they are on the wheel. You feel everything that's going on under the hood, and that makes driving more fun to me...... But that's just my thought on it!!!!

I guess I am the only person ever to not have it vibrate, it's weird all the other cars you can feel the the power, mine, it feels almost stock until i get on it then it feels like a b16a. I don't know, maybe I have something wrong on mine, but i checked it all and the car runs tight so not really sure.

91sifreak--Make sure your B16A didn't come out of an automatic....if it did then your cams aren't as aggressive, the valve springs are weaker, and the ECU is setup to redline lower.

I hope it's not, i have lined up with a 98 gsr and pulled on him in 4th three times in a row. Besides, I was told it is the setup as it was in the car in japan, with an S1 tranny. If it were how would you check? Vtec comes on at whatever the ecu is set to kick on at and I am running a pr3, so it comes on at 5000k and runs to the 8200 rpm revlimiter.

I've got the same setup, and it feels like stock (or weaker) unless I really get on the gas. I swear my brother's D16A6 CRX would pull on me HARD below 3000rpm, we'd be equal at about 4000rpm, and I'd blow him away at 5000+.

Vibration really isn't a problem that I've noticed. The car vibrates more, yes, but it's not rough at all... kind of a pleasant idle. I prefer it to having no vibration. This is with the Redshift Racing mounts.
