Default FUEL PRESURE INFORMATION

OK i have a b18c1 in my DX civic....right now i have the stock fuel pump and i only have good performance at a full tank of gas. I suspect the fuel pump.

After looking into things i relize that the stock civi has a fuel pressure of 28 to 36 psi and the b16a2 has 30 to 37 and the b18c (1 or 5) is 38 to 46. I have a 2000 Civic Si Fuel pump that i got (i was told it was a GSR!).

What am i lookin at here, how does a fuel presure regulator and with the correct ENu should not the system still run at the right PSI, but run at less LPH correct ???

So basicaly i have a b16a2 fuel pump i can install but will not be correct since i need more PSI...and there for will not have enought LPH when the ECU tries to make the required PSI with that fuel pump....or am i off my rocker here?

fuel pressure is handled by the fpr. gsr, and type r have differnant ones than other b series motors. the rest is the same.

I though all d series and LS motors use 79 LPH pumps and all B series ones use the 139LPH pumps. So your b16 pump will be the same as a GSR one.
