Weird idle

Hey guys, I just noticed a few days ago that while my car usually idles around 800rpms, sometimes it will drop really low to like 300rpms, it sounds like it is sputtering and almost going to die, then it goes back up to 800rpms or so, and stays there. Now, I would have never noticed if it weren't for my thermal exhaust, which is loud enough that even at low rpms, you can tell any fluctuations. Now, is this normal? My car is a '94 GSR and I have about 122k miles on it. I haven't gotten a valve adjustment since I bought it about 4yrs ago when it had 43k miles on it, and since I bought it used from a Honda dealership, I assume they did most of that maintenence stuff before. I had posted a thread a few weeks ago on the Honda-Acura forum, and people there said that a valve adjustment wouldn't make much of a difference in terms of gaining more hp, but would it improve my idle? Or this this problem caused by something else? I get oil changed every 3000 miles, and change my plugs every 10k miles, sometimes sooner. I've gotten timing belt, water pump, rotor, cap, fuel filter, etc. all recently, so the valve adjustment is the only thing that comes to mind. Could it possibly be my clutch? It's some cheap POS LuK brand clutch with about 50k miles on it (I plan on upgrading before the end of summer). Well, as always, any and all help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.
