Why don't you guys put your drag racing where your mouths are? We have a Ford and a GM site here in Northern California that would love to proove that theory wrong. No hard feelings we just want to see if you guys can do as well at the track as you say you can in your music. Do you guys have the man power around the Northern Cali area to accept the challenege or are most you located elsewhere. Just a thought to finally settle the domestic vs. import dispute

 

Come see for yourself this weekend in Sonoma and see what where all about. Both sides have fast cars we just prefer it to be HONDA's/IMPORT's that's it,IMO!!

That's just an ignorant set of lyrics that's probably composed by some young ricer punk. Real racers can appreciate any kind of car that's fast and built well. I can admire a 8 second blown Mustang just as much as a 13 second all motor Honda. A fast car's a fast car.

I can't find the list on Nor-Cal but how many of you guys would be down to organize something at SAC, we usualy don't go to Sears cause the track is prepped like garbage there. Doesn't make for good times when you can see chunks of rubber on the line

I bet if you hung around this forum for a while it would amaze you that there are a lot of honda guys out there have have domestics as well...or they just enjoy them just as much...and I understand that you are just lookin for a challenge at the track..which is fine..but just keep it in mind that some of us like V8s too...FYI Im part of a pro stock team..so I enjoy the domestic side as well

 

Those would be some good races! I don't think the import list is all in norcal though.

Sounds kinda like a track here called Capitol Raceway. Saturday Pro Stock event, Sunday import event. Didn't touch the track so you can imagine the 5 inches of rubber left from the 33 inch Goodyears.

 

yeah I agree spork. You guys are too spread out for this to happen. All of our cars are in one area where as your's are all around the country. Also this is why I didn't come over here and flame on you guys right away. I made the name to get some attention but I just wanted to get a nice track day set up with something on the line. Norcal-LS1 vs. CAfords is always fun to watch and I thought you guys had to have some fast cars to make it a nice battle royal but maybe we can organize something with what you guys got near eus. Let me know.

Yeah, and v8 rwd performance has been happennin for the last 30 years, while import racing has only been comming alive for the past 5-7 years or so. I guarantee that in a few years, there will be no more need to prove what we have, the whole world will know soon. ... Il be more then happy to race any rwd streetcar at the track

Actually tomorrow is a Street Wars event at Englishtown NJ, all bracket racing Imports vs Domestics ... I hope to be there in a street import Honda too ... prolly gonna work thru the night but screw it ... whatever it takes to game it

maryland international raceways "imports vs domestics" is one of the biggest two day events held each year at MIR. biggest street car event on the east coast. tons and tons of cars with heads up racing. street v8's vs street fwd cars and awd cars. 8 and 9 second v8's against 8-9 second fwd pro cars. heads up. every november. best race of the year.

 

Yes import vs. domestic at mir is a great event. I like domestics, I just can't see myself building something like that anytime soon. Plus high hp in rwd car scares me for some reason. I guess one bad experience in not even a high hp rwd car kind of ruined it for me.

Niether is his list. My good friend is on that and he is from right here in north dallas. humm. he did used to live in norcal so maybe thats how hes on the list. i dunno.

 

too bad its an import that hold the worlds fastest street car title on drag radials. and its sad when an import racer is on the NMRA (national mustang racers assc.) with the most votes on the poll to be the first car to run 7's on drag radials.
so dude. we can come at you guys in all directions. from a 9.99 all motor FWD Honda to a 6.70 RWD Toyota Solara. so take your pick on which one you want to get spanked by.
