ok ive got a question, when i bought my car it came with a kenwood deck allready in it (KDC-319), earlier this week i installed a new gas tank and i disconnected the battery for safety and when i hooked it back up my radio needs a security code to get it to work, and i cant get ahold of the guy i bought the car off of, and i dont have the proof that i bought the deck so my local kenwood dealer wont reset it, does anyone know how to reset the deck????? Please Help me i Cant Afford another Deck at the moment and i hate not havin Music

Keep trying to call the guy you bought the car off, he couldn't have vanished....Call Kenwood and plead your case.

Security codes are to help make life a little harder on thieves, giving out ways to universally reset codes on the internet defeats the purpose for everybody. Sorry man

 

thats the odd part he did like vanish i went by his house and his mom and daughter havent seen him in like 5 months no word or anything so it looks like im screwed now oh well i guess i need a new deck anyways.

you have to send the deck back to kenwood and have them reset it. They will check the s/n to see if it was stolen but if not they will send it back in like a month
