Everything else is pretty much stock. I have 90 EF B16 I/E/H, Spoon ecu and vtec controller. It has a nasty bottom end bog and coughs below 3k. I have done full tune-up and everything has been adjusted so far (correctly I hope). I also have the classic fluctuating idle which seems uncurable. All I could think is left is the fuel pump, but it seems to run very rich anyway. I have done a search, but it seems every car is different??

 

it might be a characteristic of the spoon ecu.....a friend has a 2.0 spoon itr motor (but it has je 11:1's in it)with the spoon ecu and it runs way too rich also...blows more black smoke than my turbo integra

 

It blows grey smoke when I climb on it, I figured just running rich. Does he have and trouble with idle or low rpm stumble because of maybe too much fuel? I assume his motor is fully built anyway, just curious....
