All the people that I talk to have a opinion, that is fine but what is the best bang for you buck. Everybody and there dog makes a set cams and I have no interest in listining to another salesman (I am one) I want to here it from the end user/Racer
what is hot for street strip and what is a kick *** full blown race cam. Please say why, Other head mods if nessesary, peak power, and from what RPM.
Note : I use Type R cams with a set of Cat Cams springs with there retainers in my 12:1 compression street car.

If you do a search about cams, you will come up w/ more info than you will be able to sort through. Everybody has a different opinion, and every set-up reacts differently.

 

if your going with a mild cam... like a toda A or a jun I cam or that sort go with a usdm maker cam... wayyyy cheaper.... for instance.... crower cams, comp cam, crane cams are all good cam makers..... i just dropped some comp cams ---57202's in my friends stock compression b16.... made a noticable difference over the ITR cams and the car still has no tuning yet... it'll be dynoing in the next few weeks or so... ill post the numbers up here...
but hey he only paid 350 for the cam setup cheaper than what he paid for his ITR cams and they pull better from what the butt dyno tells me

but with your setup i guess you already figured that out....

EVERY crower cam i have installed and tunned on all kinds of combos have made good power, high compression or stock, best bang for the buck for sure.
