Default thinking about going to all motor ls/vtec

im currently running a b18 with a greddy turbo kit, im considering selling the kit and building an all motor ls/vtec. a few questions i have are what are the best internals to use: pistons, cams, valve springs etc. what fuel management is recommend with ls/vtec. i realize these questions are pretty broad and ill say i dont want to spend top dollar but i definetaly want very good parts. i'd like to have a motor that can get me into the 12's, what hp numbers can i expect from doing this setup? times? also, will reliability be an issue?

why dont you just keep the turbo kit, get a GSR head put in some turbo cams and some 9.1 comp. pistons then you will have the best of everyworld, the LS tourque, the GSR's Vtec and then a turbo to make both of those even better

There would be no sense at all to taking out your GsR bottom end and building a Ls bottom end. It'll be different, but not that much of a differnce that would warrant the $1500 charge to build an Ls bottom end. The GsR motor is still a good motor for all motor though. You should take that cheater snail off, buy a set of cams and valve springs, a hondata, high compression pistons, a skunk2 intake manny, and a jdm 4-1 and you'll be making big all motor power.
Realistically, It still probably wont be as fast as your car would be right now. Turbos suck, there is no challenge to it.

what i would do, is put an LS crank in the GSR block, ( must trim the oil squirters for this) and then sell the GSR head and get a b16 head. that ought to be some nice power...

I'd totally trade my b16 head for a GsR head. Why do people seem to want B16 heads now?

Realistically?

I think your looking about 500whp. Reliability will be pretty good. It will cost about $100,000.

12s? I think your see at least 9s.
