Default question about aftermarket header

i bought a greddy header a while back and went to put it on my car but there isnt a 02 bung on it( is this normal). Its going on a 90 gs integra and its too short so i know i have to have a extension made. Where do i put the weld the o2 bung on it.

Thanks for postive input.

sounds like you got a header for a gsr(b18c, b17a). gsr's o2 is on the cat, not in the header like they are on ls's(b18a's, b18b's). just get whoever makes your extension to put the o2 bung as close to the header as possible and you should be alright.

GSR headers have o2 bungs in them also. Just have it welded into the header before the cat.

the 00-01 gsr headers had the o2 bung in them, but from 99 back it was in the cat. i have a 95 gsr and the o2 is in the cat.

You can technically put the bung whereever you want it, but normally it would go right around the collector, before the flange.

And yes, 94-99 GSRs = no header bung.
