i've got a 2000 gsr engine, i was looking for a header at my local speed shop and when they asked what car i told them its was a gsr. they asked me where the location of the primary o2 sensor was and i told them it was at the of the stock header.

well they proceeded to tell me that i was not running a stock gsr header but that i had an ls header because both gsr o2 sensors are located directly on the catalytic converter and none are on the header.


can you guys give any input on this?

 

On a 2000, your primary is on the stock header.

 

yeah on my 99 the primary o2 is right before the cat (you have to go under the car to see it) and there is one after the cat (that one just tells you if your cat is in working order) .
