camber kit needs to be installed and an alignment should be done.

I'm with him, an alignment should always be done after lowering and since you have "race" springs the drop is probably too aggressive to be corrected with alignment alone.

yup. don't be cheap. buy the camber kit, it will save you money on tires bc the tire can wear too much on one side of the tire and you end up replacing them sooner.

im lowered about 2 inches with no camber kit and i have no camber wear at all. Just get an alignment and watch the tires to see if they start to wear. If they do...get one.

camber kits are reccomended but not a necessity...you will get more tire wear then usual with a lowered car but if you get an alignment t shoudl be ok almost as if it were normal if you dont have an extreme drop...personally i didnt need one but i would get one

get larger wheels to compensate the lowering, a camber kit, and wheel alignment.

How much dod you lower it and how did you determing that you have a "nasty" camber problem? Did you use tire wear as a guide? If so that is proably due to an incorrect toe setting. On my Del Sol I ran -2.0 camber and got 35,000 miles out of my tires, when the tires were done the inside was bald and the outside was down to the wear bars, which just mean I needed to autocross or drive on track more to get them to wear "even" .

i brought my 00 gsr in to have an alignment done a couple weeks ago and was told my camber was too far off for them to do an alignment properly... that's just what i was told whether it's right or not?? i'm dropped 2 1/4" in the front and 2" in the rear and am getting some nasty tire wear, my camber kit's on the way right now

What was your toe? Camber cannot be adjusted, however if you are getting nasty tire wear, than I would belive that your toe is out of adjustment, and that can be fixed.

that's what i thought too but they said my toe was perfect and i had a -2 camber on my left front side and a -3 something on the right front? (had fake coilovers on) my front tires lasted about 16xxx miles and then threads were showing,,, now i've replaced the coilover sleeves and put in h&r race with the camber kit on the way, i hope this solves the tire wearing problem.

why would you get larger wheels?

<--running -2.3 deg. camber in front for over 1.5 years w/ little to no tire wear problems.
