yaa, their only slipstreams, but they MESSSED one up BAD.. i mean im pissed. I went back again today and the OLD F*CKER(sorry for language.. im just so upset) tells me that their was nothing they could do to prevent it.. becuase its a "chrome rim painted"........ BS.. i was like ive got tires mounted many times before and never had a problem..

in the end, all he says is that he'll "touch it up".... i told him you will never find the same black and he says "black is black".. godddd i was so pissed. i was like "as long as you admit that you fucked up my wheels then i'll come back even harder.. i think he got scared. he told me to come back again and speak to the real manager or some bs.

and suggestions? im getting sooo owned

 

Most places are gonna give you some **** at first to see if you'll backdown. If you're seriously pissed and they fucked up your rim(s), then take it to them and eventually they'll consider you too much of a headache and pay for your damages or replace your rim(s) that are messed up.

 

Yeah thats my plan... im going back again tommorow, and if they still give me ****(im 16, so its expected), my dad has badass lawyers

I have a friend who had a type-x rim chipped @ costco(and SSR has a damn good coating). Manager said he would buy him a new wheel.. but where in the big-jon-stud do you find ONE type-x? don't believe that 'european soft-touch machine' krap

 

so do some of you get something in writing at wherever you get rotations? I will be seeing how that flies over around here....

I'd recommend taking a look at the machine they're gonna use before you let them touch your wheels too. The machine at the place I went to had four rubber pads that clamped your wheel so there was no metal on metal contact. Another place that was recommend to me by local guys just put rags over the metal parts that clamped the wheel down which isn't close to as good as the previous place.

A friend of mines rim was damaged at a place and they replaced the wheel.

 

went back again... now they wont even take the blame. this is so annoying. their blaming rota for cheap paint.. i guess legal action will have to take place

 

What type of tire place was it? If it's a chain then you just need to talk to the general manager. I used to install tires at BJ's and seen customers get reinbursed. If its just some garage then it might just be worth getting it fixed yourself.

just tires paid for all four of mine, this stupid wigger fucked my rim up while he was rapping and working on my new tires. when i saw what he did to the lip
i went ape ****.. so the mager had all four of my rims re done and they were 3 peice too.. i saw the bill, it was over a thousand dollars...
i guessing they fired that ****..

 

I had my old school SSR rims w/ polished lip scrated up by a gas station while they were trying to mount tires, after that, i'll never go to any place but a "performance" shop that mounts pricey rims regularly and could reimburse you if they do **** up.
