I have first gen b16 and a shop just replaced my headgasket just go the car back bout an hour ago when I start up the car and wait a little like about a minute a cel comes up its 2 long blinks 3 short ones, so Im think code 23 knock sensor?


were can it be located and do you think they forgot to plug it in tight? or would they have even touched it replacing a headgasket? any advice would be appreciated

Im runin a pw0 ecu and vtec is still hittin hard like a mother....

try doin a search. i know i found a good list for the sohc codes. but i never seached for b series. also, just check the knock sensor/wiring and be sure its all plugged in snug.

knock sensor.

Make sure the wires are hooked up right. 91-93 octane. Check the sensor itself. Underneath the #2 intake runner.
If that doesn't work, call the place where you got the swap from... if it's hmotorsonline.com I'm sure they'd replace it after they check the pics.
