Default ZC Pistons/rods in d16y8

I was looking into some zc rods and pistons for my d16y8. Would this increase compression alot? What are they good to (hp)? Also, would you recommend them for turbo applications?

Thanks
Dan

ZC pistons are domed, equivalent to 88-89 teg d16a1 pistons ( 86-87 have less dome). They are used by many Sohc folk as a cheap alternative to expensive high compression aftermarket offerings. The d16a1 and zc rods are beefier then sohc rods, so those would be of some value for the budget turbo person, but the pistonns, nah. You'd wanna keep the lower comp in most cases.

Do a search, its been covered A LOT.
