chances are your CV boot is rotted away. which will mean u need to switch the axel. it shouldnt cost u more than $70 if u do it urself. do a search on changing axels u'll find lots of threads.

 

look at the cv boot, it may have split

I replaced all that. It also used to go hmmmmmrrrrrrrum hrrrrrrrrrrrum bbrrrrraaasssssstabaaaaaa braassticklsssshhhhmaaaaaa whooop whooop heeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaawwwwwww puuutinnng. That only happened when I would decelerate through turns.

I took right in to the mechanic that's just what he said!

When it made the "braassticklsssshhhhmaaaaaa whooop whooop" sound it scared me REALLY bad! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO loud!!!

The mechanic has had it for 2 weeks now and said I should get it back next week sometime. He had to order a new tool to replace the bearing since it's a Honda.

 

did the mechanic say anything about your 4 nippples?

I just called him. He said he was going to flush them when the bearing came in. He also said he might have to remove my drain **** and replace it with an electronic one.
