Default B-18 rod ?

Will B-18 rod work in a D-16? A guy on ebay is selling a set of rod and that is what he is saying. The only thing he says you have to do is bushing the pin hole to smaller Dia.? Is this true??

not that i am an expert but i have done this.

the small end of the rod must be rebushed to take the smaller d16 wrist pin.

the large end needs to be thinner, so that it fits in the journal on the crank.

I cant remember the exact measurements. but i will tell you that you will need a floating wrist pin set up on your new pistons.

rod length is the same, so it will not change anything once it is "made: to fit, it is just a beefier rod is all. No stroke diffrence
