I just wanted to know, i used to have that magazine from superstreet but I lost it somewhere. The reason I was asking is somebody where I live won one of them. He won the drag one, not the one built for autox. Anybody remember what that thing ran in the 1/4 mile?

Hmm. The JUN Drag civic was one of the first Honda's and FWD's in the 9's. It was the one that was "to be the first in the 9's". Those other two I'm not sure. The one was only on BFG Drag's so i'm guessing in the 12's area for the drag one. Never heard or saw the Auto X/Road Race one compete at any SCCA or NASA events.

They kept breaking down. Even if they ran a clean pass they were no where near Erick's time so I think they gave up...Thats just what I heard..

THe guy is selling it for 14k. It has a type r in there. I wonder if it's one of the crated motors they list on the JUN website? I know for sure it has the JUN header because he let us look at the motor. ALso jun oil cap, valve cover and spark plug cover.

The Auto-X one is in Miami, I see it all the time driving around...

Both of them broke 12.90's from what i heard.

The motors are B18c5's:
Jun/Cosworth Pistons
Jun Ti Rods
Jun balanced crank, flywheel, clutch
Jun P&P Head
Jun III cams
Jun Valvesprings
Jun Retainers
Jun ECU
Jun Header
etc. etc.

Compression I remember hearing was exactly 12.0:1
ITR manifold
ITR throttlebody
ITR head
ITR block
ITR crank (jun worked)

mabe a back in 1998 when they had a JUN EK in the cover of SCC will this be the 9sec breaker" haha thats when everyone was still in the 11 and some in the 10's.

I saw the DRAG all motor JUN ek civic for sale on ebay for about 13k... not worth it in my opinion unless your a collector or super rich.
