Odd A/C noise - related to clogged drain plug?
Sometime last summer, I started noticing a noise when my A/C was on... Sounds kinda like a gentle *whoosh*, every 1-5 minutes or so. It seemed to be connected with the pump cycling, as I can feel the power drop off when the noise eminates from the system.
Soon after this, water started falling on my feet. Unplugged the drain hose, no more water on the feet,
I was expecting that noise to stop -- but it didn't. This summer rolls around, still makes the noise. About mid-July I had to unclog my drain hose AGAIN
Anyone have any thoughts on the noise? Time to recharge system? Air in the system? Air is still cold, at least most of the time.
I skimmed through the many A/C topics out there, and none seemed to mention a noise like this.
