What do you guys think this will bring to the wheels?
I'm gettin' my motor back from the engine builder soon and this is what she'll have..
01 R pistons
01 R camshafts
01 R valvesprings
GSR machined head (not P&Ped)
GSR balanced rods
All new bearings, hardware and seals (obviously)
Lightened flywheel to 12lbs
Exedy Organic single plate
DC JDM 4-1
Iceman intake
Machined and balanced crank
I also replaced all coolant hoses, belts, oil pump, water pump, fuel filter and radiator.
what do you guys think? Will I put out at least 175 whp?

So this is a complete gsr motor? ls vtec? I say your goal is attainable. Just need to get the most you can out of the cams. DO you have an afc to tune with?

I'd say 175 is do able w/ a vafc or hondata. Definatly tune though.

I wasn't thinking about tuning or gettin a vafc cuz I'm in grad school (med student) and I don't have the time to get it dynoed (nor the money after the rebuild) and I'm not too knowledgable on how to use a vafc properly.......is it crucial???
