Where can i find the 3rd gear, 4th gear, and the final drive of the 92-93 YS1 GSR Tranny??

 

i think u can use the hydro parts as well as long as its from a B series.

If you are referring to the U.S. YS1 cable tranny, I ordered a 3rd gear SYNCRO SET. I havent installed it yet though.

I have the box in front of me right now.

It's HONDA PART # 23442-PS1-N00


Hit up the guys at Baranco Acura. It only took a few days for them to special order this for me.

 

is it for a gsr?? how much did it run you?

 

i bought a couple of gear sets for my 92 GSR Y1 about a year ago from acuraautomotiveparts.net. It wasnt cheap either.

Just to clarify, this is not just the syncro set, but includes the 3rd gear as well. The dealer cost is about $281.93

 

Yes, it does include the actual 3rd gear also. This is the way you have to purchase it from HONDA. Too bad no aftermarket company offers just the actual synchro rings themselves.

Or at least to the best of my knowledge there isnt any.......

 

i heard that you can order all the parts from the honda dealership.

 

I dont think you can order just the SYNCRO RINGS themselves for all the gears. You must buy the "gear set" for each gear that comes with the gears and appropriate synchro.
