are you gonna get new bearings? when rebuilding the bottom end?
get some injectors, more radical cam, and more compression

or dont touch the bottom end till you can afford to go 2.0l just do work on the head

if this was me id just sleeve the thing to 85mm and get some 12some compression pistons then add the rest on later
cause 1.8 is hurting your power goals

deffinatly get hondata instead of chipping an ecu, and that way u wont need the vafc either. i made that mistake myself. i made 187.6whp out of my 96gsr with mild headwork, s2 stage2 cams, s2 IM, gears, valvetrain, pulleys, intake, dc4-2-1(mistake...restrictive),flywheel, and custom exhaust. i wanna get to 200whp too next summer, i wanna do the bottom end, but im not sure whether or not to sleeve and bore to 84mm and get aftermarket pistons and rods, or just keep my stock 81mm and put ctr pistons in there and a thinner headgasket. the thing i recently found out from dave at smsp is that if i bore to 84mm and make it a 2.0L, id need a new header...a jdm4-1/dc jdm4-1 wouldnt cut it...id need a custom header, and those can be expensive. but if u get the s2 stage 2 cams, they would probably be better than the ITRs, u just need more compression, like maybe 11.5:1 or 12:1 to get max power outta them. i made 187.6 with the stock gsr compression(10:1) and nothing was tuned, so id say get hondata, more agressive cams, and u can do all the headwork before u do the bottom end if u cant afford to do it all at once, like me.

yea everyone keeps telling me to go hondata so maybe i can sell the vafc and at least try to go with the s100. as far as sleeving and going 2.0, that is pretty much out of the question as of right now. budget won't allow it and the pistons i have are already in the block; and yes i did get new honda bearings right now i am just waiting on myself to send the head out so i can slap everything together already. is 200+whp really not attainable with a 1.8? i'd like to keep my setup simple and sleeving and gettting a custom header is not as simple as it sounds. at least with the jdm 4-1 i can throw the heatshields on there; remember i live in cali

Get a more aggressive cams, Higher compression pistons, Hytech or SMSP header and Exhaust and plenty of dyno time with Hondata.

How long? How far am I off? I mean how much hp can I squeeze out with the current setup?

I understand more aggresive cams, higher comp., a different header, Hondata, and maybe a bump to 2.0 will get me there faster but can anyone give me a ballpark figure as to what I can make with what I posted? TIA

Ditch the overhyped VTEC setup.
