im not exactly sure.but i dont think you can ship jdm ecu's. maybe you can now. But i'd stick with XS engineering. redline is at 8700. all other chips hve a high redline. it leaves you prone to overrevving and damaging the motor

i would hold off on the chipped ecu...as you can see in my sig, i've been selling chipped p28's for over a year now! With your mods, you would either gain very minimal hp, and/or you would lose hp. Cams, high compression, i/h/e, any of these types of mods really opens up the power of the car w/ a chipped ecu. The chipped ecu enables the car to run more aggressive, dumping more fuel, sucking in more air....

what ecu are you running now?

Not trying to jack your thread but, Would it be worth it to chip my P72?, mods are in sig. Would it be pointless with the vafc ? I feel like such a newb asking this but the electrical world of Honda is something I'm not familiar with.

its not a waste of money if i spend it now opposed to later because either way im spending the money. If i get it now and it only gives me 2hp and makes vtec kick in sooner and take away my speed limiter then thats fine with me so long as i know that when i get more mods later its gonna be me a additional 5HP or more. Im not a big fan of revving past the already high STOCK redline so im not concerned wit that.
