Base and S type both use Michelin Pilot HX MXM 4 - P205/55/R16 89v tires. Road noise is high in my opinion and wet traction isn't too good. They seem to be wearing well though.

The person above has the type right but didnt really get the quality right. They absolutely suck in the rain. They wear really good because there hard as all hell compound. Get rid of them as soon as possible.

agreed..these are the worst tires i have ever had. i don't think they wear out fast b/c i dropped my car and have not had it aligned yet and it still seems like it has full thearding and even wear. (my car just have 6k miles, put on my springs at 3k)
can't stand these anymore but don't have the money to buy any new ones anyways

I found them to be quite useless. They squel at 20 mph if I am taking a corner or making a turn. If I power out of them, it gets even worse. This car needs stickier tires, but where I live, I need tires that can handle the rain as well, and the stock ones don't do that well either. They are also extremely noisy, even for a sports car tire.

the oem tires..the MXM4's are pieces of trash...wet traction sucks, dry traction is ok..noise is ok..price is too high if you want to get an another set of the same ones....only good thing is that they last for freaking forever...
