Default EG6 JDM cluster problem?

Actually I had the jdm cluster for awhile already but kinda lazy to know why the dimmer switch doesnt work. I did some reseach and also other ppl say that after you swap the cluster the dimmer switch no longer works on the cluster inself but others. does anyone know a trick to make it work??? or I need some kind of mod on the cluster itself?

I have a jdm cluster in my del sol and there is no spot for the dimmer, but it did plug in.... So I just plugged it in, turned it all the way bright, and installed the cluster... The dimmer **** is hiding in my dash now
