Got owned by the search engine.....

I couldn't find anywhere if the JDM h22 passes smog in California. I could have sworn that it does execpt for the type-s. AM I right or am I wrong? O and also is the h22a1 classified as jdm or is there a USDM h22a1? Thats all the nubish questions for now.

h22a1 = USDM
h22a = JDM

the h22a will not pass smog because its a JDM engine. it has 10.6:1 compression compared to 10:1 on USDM.

so what year was the h22a1 used?

93-96 = h22a1
97-01 = h22a4

not too sure.... compression is different. trannys are different.... not sure of anything else though. there is a prelude specs thread somewhere in this forum.
