Just curious. Is this something I should attempt myself? I heard the SH is harder than most hondas.

It is a pain because you have to remove the ATTS unit to drop the tranny which adds another hour to the project.

This is a pain. i have done it multiple times on these cars. Like the post said above you have to take off the ATTS and then drop the tranny. I do not know if I would recommend doing a clutch change by yourself on an SH if this is your first time chagning a clutch.

I've done it before. It just takes time and patience. Also, if you can get ahold of air tools, that would make the job easier

Would taking the engine out make the process any easier? Or is that just unnecessary?

You would still have to take the ATTS off befor you removed the engine as well. Making removing the engine a waste of time.

I did it recently and removing the ATTS is the biggest problem in the whole process, once you get that off everything is a piece of cake and as a heads up remove the front subframe it will ease the job by 70%, no having to maneuver anything, you can drop the tranny with ease. Pulling the entire motor is unnecessary. Airtools make life easier but arent really needed.

OK guys. Thanks for the input. I'll be sure to get a helms before I attempt this. I only have a basic craftsman tool set, but I'm planning to get a torque wrench and a breaker bar, anything else I will definately need besides air tools?
