Default computer and engine swap

When going from h23 to H22 I assume I will need to replace the computer to control Vtec...
BUT, since i was looking at replacing the computer anyaway to boost, I may as well kill 2 birds with one stone and hopefully save my mechanic a hell of a lot of time when it comes to rewiring.
So, which computer to go for?
And don't say Hondata, cause no one here can tune the things!

Mechanics hate aftermarket ecus. I'd just get the p13 and run the extra wires. Makes things much easier to trouble shoot and diagnose. Thats me tho, 90% of the people here will disagree with me.

well you have a few options to go for. P13 would be the best since its for that motor but they are hard to find. you can use any obd1 ecu that has vte all the wiring is the same. so if you found a p28 or p72 ecu those will work, and also you can find those all over usually they have been chipped already for people that are upgrading to a hondata. you can find a list of the ecu's and what they came from on hondata.com i think.
