Default Installing new valves in H22 head. What to do?

I just wondered... My Helms manual doesnt list anything for installing new valves. Do you have to lap in the new valves, or must you re-cut the valve seat? I cant find it anywhere....

Thanks...
Mark

Mark, I can only suggest that you get a valve job done to the head, it may not be absolutely necessary but it sure couldn't hurt and the is going to be apart anyway.
either way I would lap the new valve in.
